Woodbrook Elementary PTO

Fundraising is important for all schools, and Woodbrook is no exception. Please note that we don’t expect every family to support every fundraiser. Far from it! We are offering a variety of options in the hopes that there is something for everyone’s tastes, budget and time. However, if none of these potentially interest you, we always gratefully accept donations. The Woodbrook PTO is a 501(c)3 non-profit, and direct donations are tax-deductible.

All year round fundraising happens and it is easy to participate.  Here are a few of the ways you can help:

GROCERY STORE LOYALTY CARD SIGN-UPS (HARRIS TEETER) – It’s that time of year! Please link or relink your Harris Teeter card to Woodbrook. Last year we had only 20 people link their cards, but we made $118.41! You can do this in-store (Woodbrook’s school code is 2165) or online here: http://www.harristeeter.com/community/together_in_education/link_to_your_school.aspx

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION – this is incredibly easy to do.  Just look for the box top logo on foods you buy, cut out the box top and send it in with your child.  More information is here.

RESTAURANT DINNER NIGHTS (BAJA BEAN, CHICK FIL-A, ETC.) – every year with the help of our great community restaurants, we offer Dinner Nights. The participating restaurant gives back a portion of the proceeds to Woodbrook.  You can eat in and gather with friends or take out!

ATTRACTIONS COUPON BOOK – help to sell them or just purchase one or more for you and friends/family.  Each book gives Woodbrook a percent back.

We are thankful to our Business Sponsors for all of their support.  Box Tops for Education has also been a tremendous help.

There are many other ways for you to help, from helping with the Student Directory, selling T-shirts or magnets, weeding the courtyard.  Just come to a PTO meeting and find out more.  If you can’t come, please contact anyone on the board for more info and we can steer you in a direction that works for you and your family!
