* February minutes reviewed by attendants; previously approved via email.

*Current/Upcoming Events/Fundraising Outlook:

*Winter Box Top Contest made $460; total $1300 for year. Will consider having another contest though reimbursement would happen next school year. Will look into follow through on classroom contests to ensure prizes or parties go to top sellers.

*Movie Night: $120 net, G rated movie choice was welcomed, good turnout.

*Restaurant Dinner Nights: Beth Daane having trouble scheduling for this spring. Looking to secure Chick Filet on last day of school June 7th; consider having end of year picnic on school grounds…to discuss.

*Fun Fair: April 23 4-6:30pm

-Raffles: Thanks to so many teachers who have already signed up to be helpers during the fair, as well as the ever popular “teacher raffles”! Kim McQuown is organizing the raffles, and already has 40 Teachers who are participating!! Still looking for donations for the basket raffles—deadline is March 25th!

-Lindsay Diamond discussed ideas on how to get more of our school community to attend the Fun Fair. If a bus is provided for transportation, a teacher would have to be on the bus to make sure each child is being accompanied by an adult—not just sent to the Fun Fair alone.

-Games: Jennifer Smith is busy organizing games, and mapping their whereabouts within the school. New this year, a photo booth, some outdoor games (depends on weather), Woody Bear Scavenger Hunt, Boy Scouts craft room, a Magic Box to “exchange” a game prize, and a Spinner game to earn tokens to vote on a school event (? Slip n slide, PJ day, Popsicle party, Global Play Day).

-Silent Auction: Items are already coming in! Letters have been sent out, and follow up phone calls are getting underway. Please contact Kate Scales if you can help with these phone calls!

-Volunteers: Kerri Kirkeide is organizing volunteers! She has students from AHS Key Club, Jr League of Cville, and Portico Church! Will know more numbers the week of the Fair. Please sign up on the signup genius to volunteer your time!

-Fun Fair Food: Baha Bean will donate wraps (some vegan choices) and chips/salsa, hot dogs, and Chick Filet fruit. We are in need of multiple bakers to donate cupcakes and cookies for concessions and for the ever popular Dessert Walk Game! Please review the signup genius, or see Heather Santiago and Ms Chapman!

*Teacher Appreciation Week: May 2-6th. Looking for volunteers to organize this years week of appreciation! Sara Henry plans to email a few who have led this in the past. Lisa Molinaro to follow up with teachers to decide whether they want to organize a lunch out at a restaurant, a food truck at the school, or catering.

*Parent Council Report: Lorrie Smith reports that the meetings are still focused on budgets. Notes that many other schools only have PTO Board Members who show up for PTO meetings, and how lucky Woodbrook is to have more participation from our parents!!

*Treasurers Report: Sara Henry reports that there are still outstanding funding requests to vote on: $750 for Ziggys, $1000 for Maker Room supplies, $1800 for 2 Mimeo Boards, and approximately (but unknown) $1500-$2000 for MESA playground equipment project. Waiting on a dollar amount from MESA team before we can vote.

*Principal’s Report: (Lisa Molinaro)

*World Language Program-Board is still discussing budget.

*Report cards will come out after Spring Break due to our snow days.

*Second grade Success Night was great! Other success nights are being put on calendar for spring.

*Clubs started, and due to a huge number of volunteers we were able to offer club participation to second graders!

Next PTO Meeting: Tuesday, April 19 at 6:30 in the Library.
