In attendance:
Meghan Bradley, Beth Daane, Jen Smith, Kim McQuown, Heather Santiago, Sheryl Feggans, Kate Scales, Elizabeth Killian, Lorrie Smith, Justin Franklin, Ellen Powell, Lisa Molinaro, Susan Pollack, Malva Mangan
Treasurer’s Report- Ellen Powell
Kroger Cards paying off.  Averaging $700/ quarter!

Communications Report
Jen incorporating school information into the newsletter. Working well.

Parent Council – Lorrie Smith
Red Hill hosted. Lisa recommends that people visit this school as it is a multi-age design.

Budget discussions.

High School 2022 – New approach that includes internships, community partnerships.  Go to County school website for more information.

Events Since Last Meeting
Al Carbon Restaurant Night:  Donating to make grand total $300.
Maker Night: Over 100 individuals in attendance.  Great event.

Upcoming Events

Which Which Restaurant Night – April 18, 11am-8pm.
Flyer coming from restaurant. Beth to copy and distribute
*Beth to attempt to confirm BJ’s for May and Maddio’s for June.

Fun Fair – April 29
Fabios to donate 12 pizzas at Fun Fair.  Can create a banner that says, “ Pizza donated by” above their Fabio’s pizza banner.  Jen to incorporate into slide show. They want a family night. Justin to confirm a date

Need the board to approve free ticket distribution to 185 students. Motion carried.

Need volunteers – ask your church, friends, etc.  If you can’t volunteer the day of, you can bake cookies, set up tables, etc.  Beth to create a staff sign up genius.  Will ask Monticello HS (Ashby Johnson) and Western HS (Jennifer Sublette).

Dunking Booth – Four teachers volunteered to be dunked. Contract in Maureen’s hands for $189.

Date selection next year –  Suggestion to align with UVA service week.

Food / Paper Goods Delivery – Jen to confirm Friday or Saturday delivery.  Will cook 200 hot dogs to eliminate waste.  Hannah to confirm details.

Multi-Culture Fair – May 26
$500 PTO support already supported.  Will promote recipe.  Jen wants to print passports in color. Lisa to print at Woodbrook.

Teacher Appreciation Week – May 1-5
Leader needed. Laura Duke will be contacted. Need volunteers to organize luncheon and volunteers in classrooms. Heather to organize appreciation themes.  Clarify that gift cards go into a pool.

Meghan to ask Jordan to give a list of helpers
