Feed the Bear & Bee the Change Poster Contest!

Create a poster that shows Woody Bear and his Bee friends support raising money for the PTO’s “Feed the Bear, Bee the Change” Campaign, which raises money for school activities.
Posters should encourage donations. Show Woody with his bee friends, draw kids having fun at school or on field trips, collecting coins, learning interesting things at school.  Include one or more  CARES trait in the poster.  Draw anything you think will make parents and friends want to donate to Woodbrook.
A student’s final piece of work should be on 11″x17″ cardstock.  Mr. Reinhard will have this in the Art Room on Monday, November 13.  One entry per child.
The contest starts Monday, November 13 and ends on Maker Night, Friday, December 8.  Artists may work on their projects in art class with Mr. Reinhard’s permission, as well as at home.


Judges will be staff members at Woodbrook Elementary.
Posters will be judged on the message of “Feed the Bear, Bee the Change”, originality, creativity, and overall presentation, and other criteria that the judges feel are important.  Artists should work individually using crayon, paint, colored pencil,s pastel, etc.


At least three winners will be selected from each grade or grade group.  Artists should work individually and on the 11″x17″paper.  The judges may also choose additional winners.

The grade categores are K; grades 1-2; grade 3; and grades 4-5.


 The winners’ posters will be displayed at Woodbrook.  Each winner will receive a  certificate of recognition and art supplies.
